Crystal Table Lamps

Sometimes a lamp is just a lamp… but sometimes it’s a crystal table lamp! There is something almost indescribably elegant about crystal table lamps. I don’t know what it is but it makes you feel like you’re sitting in a palace somewhere, and that you might just be nobility yourself.

Sure, this may be over the top… but that’s the way I feel when I look into a beautiful crystal table lamp. You could stick any old lamps throughout the rooms in your home, or you can choose to live life a little better, a little less ordinary, and if you are that sort of person then we have something in common and you have come to the right place!

Picking the right Crystal Table Lamp for you: Picking the right lamp is an important sense of style that is different for each of us. What might be right for me and my home is probably not right for you and yours. That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with me or you or anyone else, it’s just that we have different tastes and that’s just fine. In fact, that’s one of the great things about choosing your own lamps, you get to put your own stamp of individuality on your home. That’s why we’re here!

Prices prices, who knows prices? I might as well start with the bad news, but I’m sure you already know it. These things are incredibly expensive… I mean incredibly incredibly expensive! I’ve never seen one less than $40-$45, ever, unless it was a yard sale or an antique store where the person didn’t realized what they were selling. And by the way, let me just say right off the bat that yard sales and antique stores and also estate sales are fantastically wonderful places for you to find crystal table lamps of all different stripes. Yes you must put in a little more effort and a little more leg time, but your efforts can be very well rewarded in the end.

Low end prices: like I said I’ve never seen a crystal table lamp less than $40 ish. You can find them for $50 though, and there are very nice comparatively speaking. For instance, the Simply Shabby Chic crystal candlestick table lamp – tall, is a very interesting lamp and quite beautiful to look at. At around $45 you can’t beat the price! It has a steel candlestick base and is made up of silver and clear acrylic materials. I’m not entirely sure I’d call this crystal, maybe more like crystal accented but still for the price you can’t go wrong.

Mid Range Prices from there you jump up to around the hundred dollar range, at which point your options increase quite a bit. Take for instance the Brentwood cut crystal urn with bell shade table lamp from Universal lighting and decor. This lamp is fitted out with brass finish and is made of cut crystal. It’s a very nice midrange lamp and indicative of what you can expect in this price range. You can find some very nice crystal table lamps in the $100-$200 range… with the normal price point at $149, and $179.

Higher range prices, the norm: but if you really want to get into crystal table lamps you’re going to have to spend some real money. After the low to mid range as I described above prices skyrocket immediately up into the several hundred dollars range. You’re just going to have to shell out some money for the really nice models, sometimes as much is $500 or more.

Because these lamps really can cost so much money… I always recommend that you check out estate sales, antique stores, and even yard sales for the absolute best prices for some of the best lamps you can expect to find anywhere.
